Viña del mar
When I came home from Chillian friday we were suposed to celebrate Frankies friends birthday at night and go clubbing but her mom was sick so she cancelled it... But I wouldn't have gone anyways because of my face, it was a big mess and rinning yuckie stuff and hurting like hell... So frankie and I went to dominos and ate the biggest hot dog in the world. Remember I told you about Carols? Welll this one had avocado, tomato, American sauce thing, cucumber mixed with some stuff and some mayonese. Its just a thing you have to try here. Pretty good accually! Big! I couldnt really taste the hot dog but yeeyee...
Saturday morning we drove to viña del mar. Its like 1,5 hour away from here and Frankies family has an appartment there. Its very pretty, it has a pretty big, long beach and a casino and small little things where you can buy stuff along the beach and its very popular in the summer. I culdnt really do that much but sleep and hide from the sun, but at night I was up for a little bit. Their appartment is right by the big stadium and it was a soccer game, Chile - Peru, Saturday night, so it was crazy out there! We watched all the people from our balcony. Chile won. We were supposed to go to the casino after the game but I didnt feel good and Frankie was too tired so we went to bed. Sunday morning I thought I was going to die because it hurt so bad and then they took me to the hostpital. Frenkies mom is a nurse, Frankie is studuing to be a nurse, Caroline is a nurse/pharmasist and works in a lab, her boyfriend works there too, so I was well taken care of but they all thought it was the best to go to the hostpital. The whole family went to the hostpital with me, thats how they do it here, everyone in the family do it all together if something happens hehe =) They had never been to the hostpital before so they thanked me for showing it to them :p I talked to a doctor who gave me painkillers and a gel and told me what to do. It was just the 1st degree burn so now I just have to wait for it to get better... but thank god for painkillers! I didnt have an insurance, I dont think? I have to check with Atlas Copco....well so thats where I spent my last money hehe :p I had a little bit left so I was thinking of winning it all back, gambling in the casino at night, but my plan didnt work out that good. I lost it all...but it was fun! haha =D Better luck next time! Hopefully I will get my first paycheck soon. Oh by the way.. about Atlas Copco... I can´t believ its true! I just found out that the girl Im working for, Paula. BOTH her parents commit suicide last night!! It´s very shocking for everyone! terrible... I guess they had some financial problems.. but thats a wierd way to solve the problem?! Angela just told me.. so its not the happiest office right now... Paula is not here of course, and some people stop by and ask about her but noone really knows anything... =/ So I guess Im lucky I just have a messed up face right now... =/
Hmm... I dont think I have that much more fun to tell you... I better go back to work but Im just not feeling it today. Im supposed to put together 30 flags but we only had 15 so now Im waiting for Jaquline to come back so I can go and look for some more. I was also supposed to go over an article I wrote, in spannish ( with frankie) for the Atlas Copco magazine or something but Paula is not here so now I dont know. Im also waiting for some catalogs and stuff so I can put together the last things for the breakfast.. And the boxes are not here yet so I cant put them together and label them.. so I really dont know what to do. I have some pictures from viña del mar but they are at home, and all the stuff from Chillian too so I´ll upload it tonight. well well.. Maybe its time for some coffe break then! bye bye take care love love
